One month to go!

Monday 20 July 2009

List of Pre-America things to sort

  1. Sort out a medical exam with the doctor so they can sign my form - Done. Arranged for August 7th at 4:10pm.
  2. Medical insurance.
  3. Work out what to pack.
  4. Actually pack it.
I can't think of anything else. Four things? That cannot be it. My Dad has to book our Boston hotel but I have my visa and flights sorted and got my modules confirmed today. I can't think of much else, which is bizarre.

One month, one week, three days and forty one minutes in counting :D

More pre-America thoughts.

The dollar is up to 1.652 compared to the pound, which is the highest it's been all week. Fantastic.

It's the final countdown

My countdown ticker for America :)

*Shuffles in*

Hello everyone,

I am starting this blog in order to keep all my loved ones (and if you're reading this, that's probably you :D) during my stay in Kingston, Rhode Island. I haven't left yet - I'm flying out on August 31st with my Dad. We're flying to Logan Airport in Boston, MA. and then driving down to Kingston, RI. after a night in Boston. I have almost everything sorted now, just need to get medical insurance to cover my inherent clumsiness in the States.

This blog will obviously become more interesting once I actually get to Kingston, so the countdown begins. One month, one week and five days until Rhode Island Times!

Love,
Meg :)
